About this Item

Notes
The heavy ornamentation of this mirror, with its scrolling acanthus leaves and shell motifs, suggests a strong Baroque or Rococo revival influence. Mirrors were often focal points in grand salons and drawing rooms, reflecting the light and enhancing the opulence of the space.
