the bevelled-shaped and hinged mirror between two slender uprights above a rectangular top with an inlaid rear gallery panel, over an arrangement of four drawers centred by an arched kneehole, fitted with circular brass ring handles, raised on square-section tapering legs

Notes
Vanity or dressing tables were often part of a suite with a matching wardrobe and washstand. They were designed specifically for personal grooming, so they usually included a mirror and drawers for storing cosmetics.
