The Allesverloren Port is produced from traditional Portuguese cultivars grown on the estate’s granitic soils at elevations of 170–350m above sea level. Hand-picked and foot-stomped, it is fortified with grape spirit and matured for two years in old 4,000-litre pipe casks. Allesverloren Port is produced from the same blend of traditional Portuguese cultivars that has made this Swartland estate one of the Cape’s most celebrated fortified wine producers: Tinta Barocca, Touriga Nacional, Souão, and Tinta Francisca.
