The 2014 Côte de Beaune white harvest produced wines of exceptional purity, fine mineral precision and classical structure, a vintage of notable freshness and genuine longevity that stands as one of the most elegantly composed and characterful efforts of the decade for white Burgundy across the finest Premier Cru vineyards of Meursault. Bouchard Père & Fils' 2014 Meursault Premier Cru, drawn from different Premiers Crus climats assembled into a beautifully harmonious expression of the appellation, Since the Cistercian era, this mythical terroir has been producing exceptional white wines of great diversity across its numerous Premier Cru appellations, offering an incomparable variety of aromas, flavours and textures, with Bouchard gathering together the principal facets of the appellation's charm: richness, finesse and its legendary silkiness. The wine is produced from 100% Chardonnay, aged 14 to 16 months in French oak with up to 20% new barrels.
