the rectangular top with outset cornice above a pair of doors veneered in book-matched burr walnut, enclosing three shelves, flanked by columnar pilasters, raised on bun feet

Notes

Burr or burl walnut is visible in the swirling cloud-like figuring throughout the cupboard. The door panels are book-matched to create symmetry and form a 'butterfly' pattern.
