each with top rail inlaid with diamond-shaped motif and one without, riempie seat, raised on tapering square-section legs joined by a three-quarter stretcher

Notes

These are typical 'Sandveld 'chairs. Although very similar in style, they were often made in different woods due to the scarcity of available and suitable timber in an area that is predominantly bush and scrub.
