A Japanese Arita dish, late 16th - 17th century
diameter: 33cm

Notes

Painted in cobalt blue with a central medallion. The cavetto and wide rim divided into radiating panels, alternately decorated with floral sprays and fruiting branches. The unglazed foot rim showing kiln grit typical of late Ming export porcelain.
