A Japanese tonkotsu and kiseruzutsu, Meiji period, 1868-1912
the tonkotsu of lacquered wood, the front with a removable carved netsuke of a mask of Daruma, with red-lacquered double noh mask ojime, the kiseruzutsu in the form of Ashinaga, the eyes inlaid with horn, standing on a trunk with both arms raised and fitted with a bamboo and brass pipe, unsigned, the kiseruzutsu 21cm high; and a Japanese tonkotsu , Meiji period, 1868-1912, the carved lacquered, ivory and mother-of-pearl inlaid tonkotsu depicting a sleeping figure holding a mushroom in his right hand, his drum to the side, the reverse with two rats, the detachable cover inlaid with an ivory scroll and mother-of-pearl beads, with a carved ivory netsuke in the form of a fruit, 8,5cm high
