This 1.5 litre bottle of Le Riche Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2015 was produced in Stellenbosch, South Africa. The grapes were hand-selected from vineyards in Firgrove, Raithby and Jonkershoek, each with different soils and aspects.
The wine was made using selected yeast strains and manual plunging for optimal colour extraction. After 24 months in French oak barrels, this wine has a complex nose with currants, cassis, lead pencil shavings and cedar aromas. It also has a balanced palate with sweet, ripe fruit and structured, juicy tannins. This wine was named the Platter Guide Wine of the Year in 2019, and is a true gem.
This bottle is packed in a wooden box.
