About this Item

Gary Jordan - Jordan Wine Estate

6 x 750ml bottles of Jordan Sophia 2009 from the 2012 Nedbank Cape Winemakers Guild Auction

Indulge in the taste of Jordan Sophia 2009, a benchmark red blend that marries the classic Bordeaux elegance with ripe New World fruitiness. Comprising 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, and a touch of Cabernet Franc, the grapes were harvested from the hillside vineyards at Jordan with breath-taking views of Stellenbosch and Cape Town.

The wine was fermented at 28°C and aged for 26 months in French oak barrels, producing a complex flavour profile of dark chocolate, black cherry and cassis, with hints of vanilla and spice. With ripe tannins that add to the opulent finish, this wine is perfect for wine lovers and collectors who want a well-structured wine that will age gracefully.

This item is packed in a wooden box.
