The grapes for this beautiful wine were sorted, destemmed, and gently crushed before undergoing a 22-day cuvaison which included a 10-day pre-fermentation cold soak. Gentle pressing preceded a 10-month ageing period in French oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation was completed.

This is a wine of poise and pedigree. Its luminous hue is beguiling and the complex bouquet of red cherries, pomegranate, forest floor, a touch of new oak spice and a palate that possesses an outstanding focus and tantalizing mid-palate weight is irresistible. It is a wine that holds for one the promise of intriguing conversation and warming company.

This is bottle number 42 out of just 50 produced and is packaged in a wooden box.
