The exceptional Gottfried Mocke Wine Projects Pinot Noir 2016 from a high-altitude parcel in Kaaimansgat. Partially destemmed grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation in concrete vats with gentle pigeage two to three times a day. After pressing, the Pinot Noir is matured for 14 months in 40% new barrique, resulting in an elegantly balanced wine with refined cherry, red floral, and spicy notes. This wine is a true masterpiece, with a youthful texture and significant ageing potential.
