About this Item
The Axe Hill Cape Vintage is made from Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barocca, Tinta Roriz and Souzao, hand-sorted and foot-crushed in traditional lagares, then matured in old 500-litre French oak barrels for two years before bottling, in close adherence to traditional Douro winemaking methods. The 2005 vintage continued the estate's outstanding run of form in Calitzdorp.
