A Chinese ceramic bowl, Qing dynasty, 1644–1912
Notes
Famille rose palette, turquoise ground, scalloped rim. Octagonal form with softly lobed, gilded rim, decorated to the interior with scrolling clouds and stylised floral sprays in pink, yellow, and white enamels. The exterior similarly enamelled with floral and cloud motifs on a turquoise ground.
