Notes
During the early and mid-20th century, furniture makers revived the French Rococo styles that originally flourished during the reign of Louis XV. The serpentine top, shaped drawer fronts and cabriole legs are all characteristics of this style.
These particular tables reflect the transition from the fluid Rococo taste of Louis XV to the more restrained Neo-classical aesthetic of Louis XVI, combining shaped drawer fronts with straight tapering legs.
