the centre painted with a grasshopper on a rocky outcrop before a riverscape, within a shaped diaper border, the cavetto with alternating panels enclosing sunflowers and Buddhist emblems, the reverse with scrolling tendrils, raised on a low foot, underglaze-blue six-character pseudo Chenghua mark, 19,5cm diameter; and a Japanese Arita blue and white 'Kraak' style dish, 18th century, the centre painted with a vase of flowers within a double blue-line border, enclosed by radiating panels of sunflowers and Buddhist emblems, raised on a low foot, 20cm diameter
