Notes

Rodney Band was born in South Africa and grew up in Israel. He specializes in creating large sculptural bowls hand-hewn from carefully sourced logs which are characterized by unique colour and character.

Stinkwood, a wood prized in South Africa for its fine furniture, boasts a unique combination of qualities including high durability, a distinctive colour, and good workability. It's often compared to teak in terms of durability. Stinkwood is known for its fine, tight, straight grain and a rich, natural luster.

Band has exhibited extensively in South Africa and abroad, including shows at EBONY Curated, Franschhoek, Southern Guild and Maison & Objet, Paris. He continues to collaborate with leading interior designers such as ARRC, OKHA, Black Pear and Cecile & Boyd.
