Neil no longer submits wine for the Cape Winemakers Guild Auction and this collection is his contribution to supporting the Cape Winemakers Guild’s Protégé Programme. It is an opportunity for you to still obtain some of your favourite Auction wine from Neil.

Neil Ellis Insignium 2013
70% Tempranillo, 30% Grenache
Bottelary Tempranillo and Piekenierskloof Grenache were fermented separately, then transferred to new oak barrels to complete fermentation. After malolactic fermentation, selected components were blended into the 2013 Insignium after 17 months of barrel maturation.

Neil Ellis Auction Reserve Syrah 2003
Careful fruit selection before traditional punch down fermentation. Malolactic fermentation completed in new French oak barrels followed by a further 16 months’ maturation. Rigorous barrel culling before bottling.

This wine is packed in a wooden box.
