Château Pape Clément from the Pessac-Léognan appellation is ranked among the Crus Classés for red wine in the Classification of Graves wine of 1959. It is the oldest wine estate in Bordeaux, harvesting its 700th vintage in 2006.
Critics Ratings
'Rich and complex, with apple tart, cream, vanilla and dried pineapples on the nose. Full-bodied, with loads of fruit and a butterscotch, vanilla, apple and cooked pineapple finish. Even ginger. Fantastically complex and rich.' - James Suckling Winespectator.com 96/100 (2009)
