Stellenzicht is a historic estate on the Helderberg slopes of Stellenbosch's Blaauwklippen Valley, celebrated for its pioneering Syrah, most famously the 1994 that placed above Penfolds Grange in the 1995 SAA Shield tasting. The 2001 is a mature example of that benchmark Cape Shiraz, and a decorated show wine, winning gold medals at four major competitions.
