About this Item

Crayfish on the run Rooigety 2019
3 (1 x 3) 750ml
Greg Sherwood MW called his Chenin Blanc ‘one of the most profound Chenin Blancs produced in South Africa since Eben Sadie conjured up Skurfberg and Skerpioen in his old vine series.’ The ‘Crayfish on the Run Rooigety’ 2019 is a Chenin Blanc sourced from old vines near Koekenaap, named after the characteristic red-tide (rooigety) phenomena of the West Coast.

Critics Ratings

"The nose shows guava, pear, white peach and citrus plus dried grass and the merest hint of waxiness. The palate is light and fresh with a saline finish–tightly wound, it’s very elegant and has a lovely energy about it. Only 370 bottles produced and uncertified." – Christian Eedes, WineMag.co.za
