About this Item

Crescendo 1999
6 (1 x 6) 750ml
Crescendo was remarkable in that the wine was made in an austere, unapologetically tannic style, whilst the industry moved towards big plush reds.

With over two decades of aging, Cordoba Crescendo 1999 has had ample time to mature and evolve in the bottle. This extended aging period can lead to increased complexity, integration of flavors, and a smooth, refined palate. Overall, Cordoba Crescendo 1999 represents a combination of an outstanding vintage, skilled winemaking, and the influence of time, making it a special wine that offers a unique tasting experience.

Provenance

This lot comes from the late Harold Eedes, who served as Managing Director of Wine Magazine for nine years. A highly respected and much-loved figure in the South African wine industry, Harold assembled a thoughtful collection that includes a number of mature Bordeaux wines. The wines have been professionally stored under temperature-controlled conditions at Brice & Burnett since acquisition.
