A blue and white ceramic bowl, Ming Dynasty, 1368–1644
Notes
A blue and white bowl painted with stylised lotus-scroll motifs in deep cobalt tones, divided into vertical panels around the exterior. The interior with a broad unglazed firing ring, typical of utilitarian Ming wares, with scattered iron spots from kiln conditions. The design reflects the lively, spontaneous brushwork characteristic of provincial Ming production.
