Notes
Carlo Forcolini is an Italian designer associated with the Memphis-Milano movement. He designed furniture, lighting and objects that mixed functionality with theatrical flair.
This lamp was inspired by Polifemo, an opera about the mythical cyclops Polyphemus. The white ‘cyclops eye’ on top can be tilted to have different reflections and shade effects.
The light is screened and directed by the circular lampshade according to its inclination.
