A Japanese okimono of a wicker basket, Meiji period, 1868-1912 the body carved with a cover and a pair of ring and tassel handles, the detachable base carved with a woven mat with a seated demon conjuring up the head of Mehitotsubo Yokai, with another seated figure with raised arm looking on in distress, signed, possibly Seiko, the basket 3,5cm wide
