A George III mahogany demi-lune card table, c. 1800
the hinged crossbanded top enclosing green baize-lined playing surface above an inlaid frieze, raised on square-section tapering legs with spade feet, 73cm high, 91cm wide open, 45cm deep
Notes
Demilune is French for half-moon. It features a half-circular top on frequently slender legs so that it might be placed flush against a wall.
