"Trees are now his subject. They focus feeling and substitute for gesture. Ourselves, in another form, they huddle, they sway, they lean and tilt from the shadow of buildings or look towards horizons. Feeling hovers in the indefinite haze, that never quite settles onto form and never quite finds a label."
