Notes
Stanley Hermans is a South African postwar and contemporary painter. Since graduating with a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Cape Town in 1991, he has had eight solo exhibitions. He works in a range of genres, including figurative, still life, peopled and metaphorical interiors, landscape, and pure abstraction.
