Notes
"I was always fascinated by Egyptian art as a youngster and particularly liked the idea of cat gods. Bastet (head of a cat and body of a woman) was the goddess of protection, pleasure and bringer of good health and Sekhmet was the goddess of war and protector of the pharaohs. I guess this cat is fulfilling both duties as I sleep peacefully. I have used the cat in many of my 'dream' works and enjoy living with cats. -Norman Catherine, 2023
