A Mughal dagger, 18th/19th century the bone hilt finely carved with floral motifs terminating in a goat's head inset with coloured stones around the eyes, nose and mouth, the steel blade finely watered with the forte decorated on both sides with a cartouche of overlaid gold koftgari scrollwork, one side with additional inscription cartouche, the scabbard covered in red silk, two stones replaced, the blade 26,5cm long
