the circular cover moulded in relief with figures in 18th century attire flanked by a pair of scroll cartouches engraved with the initials 'N' and 'B' respectively, moulded foliate border, the glass bowl cut with bands of diamond-shaped printies, star-cut base, chips, dent to cover, 9,7cm high, 115g; and an Edward VII silver-mounted cut-glass ink bottle, William Vale & Sons, Chester, 1923, with circular screw top enclosing a glass stopper, the tapering body cut with foliate motifs, chips, dents, 7,3cm high, 15g
