Champagne Vazart-Coquart et Fils has been making wine in the grand cru village of Chouilly, in the Côte des Blancs since 1954. Elegant and rich Champagnes are made from predominantly Chardonnay, supplemented by Pinot Noir, from 11 hectares of vineyard.

Organic Certification
Both farmed and made according to organic practices, certified by ECOCERT (mostly Europe) and other organisations.
Certified organically grown grapes - no use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. Use of certain cover crops, methods of soil care, and other specified vineyard care.
Wine made according to strict standards - use of approved, organic yeast, and no added sulfites or other specified additives. Does not imply that the wine is vegan (allows for specified fining agents (including egg whites) and enzymes). In certain regions this is extended to chaptalisation and acid addition.

These bottles were disgorged in June 2018.

‘Pale greenish straw. Complex and refreshing. A true Blanc de Blancs. Just the right side of too heavy. There is depth here. And great balance. 100% Chardonnay. Stainless steel. Bottled 2013.
