Notes
This table exemplifies the sculptural modernism of the late 1960s and 1970s.
Hesterberg became renowned for transforming cast aluminium into elegant, organic forms that blur the boundary between furniture and sculpture. The dramatic fin-shaped supports appear almost weightless beneath the thick glass top, demonstrating his fascination with lightness, movement and architectural balance.
