Notes

The patented bent-wood technology developed by Aalto in the 1930s was groundbreaking and represented a significant step in the evolution of modern furniture design.

This 'Model 21' chair, designed in 1933, was produced by Finmar Ltd, the British company that licensed and distributed Aalto's furniture in the United Kingdom during the post-war period.
