Notes
This wall-mounted storage cabinet, designed in 1947 by Florence Knoll, is among the earliest produced by Knoll and reflects her belief that furniture should form an integral part of architecture. Trained as an architect under Mies van der Rohe, and influenced by the Bauhaus movement, Knoll developed furniture that was restrained, functional and timeless.
