Notes
The L2 Grand Confort sofa is one of the defining works of Modernist furniture design.
It was first exhibited at the 1929 Salon d'Automne in Paris as 'domestic equipment' and challenged conventional furniture by exposing its polished tubular steel frame as an integral design element rather than concealing it within the upholstery.
