Notes

A pupil of Finn Juhl, Vodder combined refined Danish cabinetmaking with innovative ergonomics.

This chair's defining feature is its brass-mounted pivoting backrest, which pivots gently and provides the sitter with exceptional comfort.

The exposed pegged construction celebrates, rather than conceals, the joinery, allowing it to become an integral part of the design aesthetic of the chair. The honest expression of construction reflects the principles of Scandinavian Modern design, where craftsmanship and structure are treated as decorative elements in their own right.
