Notes
The design of this chaise drew inspiration from the Thonet bentwood rocker and was a collaboration between Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret for Le Corbusier.
It provides a modern take on the traditional rocker through a structure that is a play between its two main components: the stationary base and an upper frame that glides back and forth to find the perfect position for the reclining body- a "machine for relaxation".
