About this Item

the cylindrical pierced copper shade raised on a a trumpet stem and circular foot
c.1960-1970
height: 38cm; width: 20cm; depth: 20cm (base without shade)
Notes
The clean geometric silhouette, combined with the copper finish, reflects the era's fascination with simple architectural forms and honest materials.
When illuminated, the pierced metalwork creates a warm ambient glow, enhancing the sculptural quality of the lamp and making it as much a decorative object as a practical source of light.
