Notes
The Barcelona Daybed was designed by architect Mies van der Rohe in 1930 for the German International Exposition in Barcelona. It is part of a suite of furniture he designed to welcome the event's visiting King and Queen of Spain.
It is an iconic example of 20th century furniture, a tribute to the marriage of industrial design and craftsmanship.
