Elio Grasso is one of the great names of Monforte d'Alba, best known for its Barolo but also for characterful wines from the region's other grapes. Vigna Martina is its Barbera d'Alba, a deep, dark-fruited red with Piedmont's signature bright acidity. 2016 was an excellent Piedmont vintage.
