Boplaas is the Nel family estate in Calitzdorp, in the Klein Karoo, long regarded as South Africa's leading producer of Cape "port" and potstill brandy. This is a Cape Winemakers Guild Auction potstill brandy, made in tiny quantities for the Guild's annual auction and matured at length in oak.
