Thought to be from Paarl and Wellington grapes, this wine was late-bottled in the 1970s after being meticulously stored in KWV's cellars for decades. Thanks to high sugar, low pH, and fortification, its ability to age is beyond dispute.

'Bottles like these are exceedingly scarce, often drawing significant attention at auction due to their age, provenance, and the stories they carry,' says Cape Wine Master Bennie Howard.
