circular, each of wavy outline, decorated in coloured enamels and gilt with birds, blossoms and bamboo within a gilt and amber zigzag border, 12,5cm diameter, signed Koshida; and a pair of Japanese Satsuma earthenware saucer dishes, Meiji period (1868-1912), similar, intricately decorated in coloured enamels and gilt with chrysanthemums and peonies, the rim with gilt border, 12cm wide, signed ‘Hand Painted, KOSHIDA, JAPAN’
