A Royal Worcester ornithological part tea service, painted by William Powell, 1931 comprising; a teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug, seven teacups, eight saucers, eight tea plates, a pair of sandwich plates, each painted and titled with a bird against a cream ground, gilt dentil-and-line borders, the sandwich plate 22cm diameter, blue-printed factory mark, painted iron-red 'C3388'; and a Royal Worcester ornithological milk jug and sugar bowl, painted by William Powell, 1930, similarly painted, moulded with a basket weave, underglaze-green factory mark, the milk jug 9,5cm high (30)
