A pair of Royal Worcester Middle Eastern water carriers, James Hadley, 1892-1893
each modelled as a standing figure pouring water into a cistern, fitted with detachable liners, standing before a bollard on a rocky base, dressed in traditional attire and decorated in shades of apricot blush with gilt highlights, the cistern liners repaired, each cistern re-attached with later metal fittings, some wear to the gilding highlights, impressed 'HADLEY', puce factory mark, impressed initials and numerals, the taller 45cm high
