‘From 56% Shiraz, 19% Grenache, 12.5% Cinsault, and 12.5% Tinta Barocca, the nose shows a floral note before red and blackberries, white pepper, and spice while the palate shows pure fruit, lemon-like acidity, and powdery tannins. ‘The 2018 Red Blend, comprising Shiraz, Grenache, Cinsault and Tinta Barocca fermented in concrete tanks, offers appealing mulberry, black plum, curry leaf and potpourri aroma that gradually gain intensity with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with red berry fruit, white pepper and clove. The finish has a precision that I admire and a saltiness that lingers in the mouth.
