Chinese blue and white porcelain vase, Qianlong dynasty, late 18th or early 19th century
Notes
Painted with a continuous frieze of scrolling foliage and peony blooms above stylised wave bands and beneath a border of stippled ruyi (ju-i) heads. The neck carries a matching decorative band and is fitted with two cylindrical lug handles. The peony is a traditional symbol of wealth and honour in Chinese decorative arts.

Red wax collector’s seal applied to the base (unidentified), likely 20th-century private collection or dealer’s mark.
