Notes
Jaap Ravelli was one of the Netherlands' foremost post-war ceramic designers, establishing Potterie Ravelli in Valkenburg in1947.
He produced a series of highly distinctive black and white ceramics inspired by African art, rendered in a bold, modernist graphic style.
