Notes
Lindsay Page was a distinguished South African landscape painter from the Eastern Cape. A graduate of Rhodes University, her work was exhibited and collected widely throughout her career, which included a 2016 solo exhibition, The Purple Cloak, at the prestigious Irma Stern Museum, curated by her daughter, the painter Diana Page. She was part of the acclaimed circle of painters which included Brian Bradshaw, Neil Roger, and Robert Brooks and an early member of the Grahamstown Group.
